"I don't know and I never will know how." Hypnos said a sadly. "Grandma, you can take off the bandana covering his mouth and you'll see why..." Chaos nodded and then gently yanked the thin, black cloth off. The corners of Thanatos's mouth was scarred, and the scars led down the all the way to his throat, where a larger scar happened. Chaos looked at the scars in shock and concern. He was at a loss of what to say.

It's brutal from what I can tell from the scars. I can only imagine how it is in a dark, quiet world." Chaos hugged Thanatos. Thanatos didn't respond right away, but he hugged back the best he could with one arm.
