The Ancient Dragon lifting an eyebrow but said nothing.
Cornelius was at his seat. He had his legs over the armrest now, his wife laying on top of him. Lethe was sitting beside the throne. Dike was sitting on the other side. There here was also the green-and-black dragon which was sitting on one of the steps. On the step below him was the Shaman of Lemuria. On the last step was a warrior clad in armor, his hair was black and he had orange eyes. He had the tattoo of the residential dragons covering one side of his face. He was Markus of the Simmons Clan.

Frith left, heading for the temple where he last encountered Cornelius. He kept a calm, steady pace. He wasn't in a rush. Frith decided he'd try so that if he was to be killed, his family had a safe place to reside.

Frith watched them from a few feet away. He missed being able to be with Clara like that. Now with the constant running, he felt like they didn't have time together. He started to leave, deciding to wait until a better time.

Frith merely turned back around to face Cornelius. He approached once more. "Sir, I was just curious if you would spare my wife and children's memories of this island. If something were to happen to me, they would need a place to find refuge," Frith said.

"Now why would I do that?" Cornelius said, aimlessly running his hand through Lilly's hair. "How would I know they won't speak of the island?"

Frith hesitated before answering. "You can't know that nor can I make the promise that they won't. However, they are not human as well and as we are on the run, they have no one to truly tell. My wife is nothingness, having no distinct race. In turn, I suppose she'd be everything as well as nothing. In a sense, that would make her part dragon, no? That means in a sense, my children are also part dragon. Therefore, do they not have the protection of this island?" He was calm when speaking. "I suppose I could also say that it is only fair for you to erase them as well, not trusting the humans out there who would not treat dragons equally. I can however vow to you in following that train of thought that any human who does not respect dragons can and will be eaten by myself as the symbol of Cannibalism. This I swear to you with my honor as a dragon."

Cornelius couldn't help but laugh. "I admire your honor, boy." he said. He looked at him, "Since your wife is the Goddess Chaos, it would make sense that we would consider her as a dragon. She is nothingness. So why would we erase the memories of your family if they are one of us by marriage and race? But, keep in mind, boy, that it is humans that killed your father."

My children seemed to have run off ages ago, or at least that's what it feels like. Today, they came by with some very shocking and disturbing news. I have no idea how my wife feels about it. I believe they should have some freedom as long as they can live with this choice.
