Dupree gave Cross a look, wondering if he was pulling his leg or not with that statement, he stopped drinking for a moment, putting the beer bottle on the table, his eyes slowly turning bloodshot again, "Lad, that is a good one, the guy don't even look as old as me."

"Anything's possible, Mr. Dupree." he said. "Best thing I can say is expect the unknown." Alexander Simmons came into the room with Gold still in his arms. He had put his son to bed and he was working on a small something for Gold. The little girl yawned and leaned against her father, comfortable. She had her green eyes look at Dupree for a moment, the girl having a sense of wisdom shining through them.

Kratos Claire

Kratos leaned over and grabbed her hand again and intended to pull her down with him. He didn't feel like sleeping alone.

"I see." He said, Dupree was going to pick up the beer bottle again, when he noticed the little girl in Lex's arms was looking at him, he had a gentle smile on his face and gave her a small wave then looked at Lex, "Ehh, if it's alright with you lad, I heard from mister Cross that ya had a guest room, would be alright if I slept there? Just for the night then I'll be out of ya hair tomorrow morning." he politely asked

Alexander Simmons & Gold

Alexander gave Dupree a smile, "Yes, you can use one of the guest rooms we have." Alexander said as he finished preparing Gold's snack. He handed the small sandwich to the two year old girl. Gold ate it, smiling. "I say it's best if we all head to sleep since everyone here is seemingly tired from today." Gold ate her square sandwich happily.

Kratos Claire

Wrapping his arms around her, he took a deep breath and hugged her close to his body. He was warm.

Dupree nodded and stood up, slinging his coat over his shoulder, grabbing his gloves in one hand, and the beer bottle in the other, "Alright then, uhmm, you wouldn't mind showing me to my room, would ya, Cross?"

Sivain snuggled up to him. Her head rested on his chest so she could hear his heartbeat.

Alexander Cross & Green & Gold & Alexander Simmons

Alexander nodded and started to lead the way to one of the guest rooms. Green pulled out a small something for Alexander when he returns and a chicken leg. She looked at Simmons, "It's for the monster in the back, Mr. Simmons. You did tell me to make chicken for it though I wasn't sure if--"

"It's fine, Miss Green," The red-head said. Green blushed and bowed. Alexander left the kitchen as well with Gold still nibbling on her sandwich. Green placed the chicken leg on a separate dish.

Kratos Claire

"You remind me of someone I held dear months ago." Kratos said. "She would always listen to my heart." He ran a hand through Sivain's hair, thinking about Aisha. "I don't mind it, I am used to it by now." He knew his heart was irregular because of the two races that run in him. His heart is slower than usual now because of his draconic side and it was winter. He knew that Alexander's heart is slower than usual as well. Yogan's heart had slowed significantly since he is a full dragon.

Dupree was walking beside Cross, yawning, "Mmmm, old age is getting to me already, hehe...Mmm...Cross, could ya do me a favor...Could ya give that Kratos fella you told me about earlier a bottle of beer before he leaves tomorrow mornin'? I'm pretty sure he'll want one last drink before he goes." he said, snickering

Sivain closed her eyes as she listened. "Were you two married?" she asked.


Circe

Circe shifted slightly in her sleep. As she settled, a pain ran through her. She opened her eyes, rubbing her stomach. She only thought it was her baby moving. Yet, as she thought about it, his kicking wasn't as painful. Circe sat up and her mind automatically went to the thought her child was going to be born that night.

Alexander nodded to Dupree, "I will," he said. Gold was put on the floor and she went over to the door where Circe was ahead. "I wanna check..." she said. Alexander Simmons sighed, "No, honey, she's sleeping..."

"But I have this feeling..."

"Will it make you feel better if I opened the door so that you can check?" The toddler nodded and Alex opened the door. Alexander Cross stopped, curious as to why Gold insisted on opening that door.

"Yes, we were happily married." Kratos said.

Circe looked up as the door opened. She said nothing, but she was probably paler than before.

Alexander Cross looked at Dupree, "A woman, she's pregnant." Alexander said. "I think at any moment she can give birth..."

Gold ran to the bed and smiled at Circe, "Hello," she said. Simmons wasn't too far behind her. He looked at Circe, "Are you alright, Miss Wolff? Is there something wrong?" he asked. Gold's tiny, pale hand reached out for her to hold Circe's hand.

"Aisha died." Kratos answered.

Dupree was taking a swig from the beer bottle when he heard what Cross said, he spat it all out, "What!?!?! She's preggers and ya never told me!? Jesus, I don't want that kid's mind to get scared for the rest of her life!" he said, knowing that Gold was in the room at the moment, he shoved the beer bottle into Cross's hands and started heading to Circe's room, "The lad couldn't have waited to knock her up in the morning!?"

Circe took Gold's hand. "The little guy wants to be born today it seems," she told Alexander Simmons.

"I will inform your friend immediately," Alexander said. He grabbed Gold, the little girl letting go of Circe's hand. He then started to leave the room.

Alexander Cross & Nanny

"Uhh..." Alexander blinked, looking at Dupree with confusion shining in his blue eyes. Nanny, the old woman and caretaker of Relinia and Gold, emerged out of her room, "What in blazes is going on there...?" her elderly voice called out in the hallway. "Is there a tornado goin' by? By all means, duck and cover!"

"Nanny...wrong phrase..." Cross said.

Kratos Claire

Kratos sighed, "At least two people understand," Kratos said. "Thank you,"

He sighed putting his stuff down near the door, "Cycle of life...We meet again." he muttered, before entering the room calmly, "You alright? I heard that you were going to have your baby now, don't worry I used to be a doctor, I know what's going to happen, just relax and tell me, how far along were ya with the little guy?"

Circe

Circe looked up. Unlike the person who's soul was in her body, she was open with strangers. "Nine months," she told Dupree.
