Esperance began to clean up the kitchen. She then began to follow Alec.

Sivain began to carry him to the bathroom.

Ganbara did as he was told. He took a deep breath, grateful that two out of three people that had found him were compassionate.

Upon reaching the outside world, Alec continued on until he reached a corner. He stopped, and waited. He told his bird something and the bird gave a caw before going off to wherever he was going to do.

Serafeim Claire.

Serafeim looked at his mom, "Where will I learn?" the six-year-old asked.

Nina.
Ash.
Yogan Price.

Yogan still wanted Ganbara to die while the siblings finished up with their job. Once done, Nina gave a huff before getting up when Ash offered his hand.

Esperance watched her adoptive father from a distance now. She changed everything about her in appearance and scent so he wouldn't recognize her if he saw her.

Ganbara slowly pushed himself to his knees. "Thank you very much. You both have saved my life." He spoke slowly and deliberately, sounding sincere. He tried to stand, but quickly fell down to a four-legged position. "Ah, it seems I'm still quite weak."

Lucifina.

Lucifina appeared from around the corner and hugged Alec. "Oh, Leon," she said as she looked at him up and down. "You're beautiful." Alec, now "taken over" by Enrique, couldn't talk. He seemed distant but aware too. He looked at her, giving her a small smile as she let go of him. He ran a hand through her hair before she took his hand and led him away. When Lucifina wasn't looking, Alec had a frown on his face and sadness swept throughout his eyes.

Serafeim Claire.

" 'm silly... what am I going to learn?"

Nina.
Ash.
Yogan Price.

Grabbing Ash's hand and then Nina's, Yogan started to drag the children away from the creature. Nina gave him a small smile, "It's no problem!"

"Yes you are," said Sivain with a smile. "You'll learn history, reading, math, and I'll find a way to teach you science. Maybe I can teach you some Greek when you're older, too."

Ganbara watched the trio walk away. The third one seemed set in his ways. There would be no arguing with him. Instead, Ganbara started his search for a drugstore again.

Lucifina.

Alec and Lucifina continued on their way to a hotel, pretty fancy. Lucifina undid the bun in Alec's hair so that the red hair can cascade past his shoulders and elbows. She ran a hand through the beautiful strands of hair before leading him inside. Enrique was at the door and greeted them. Lucifina exchanged the money as she dragged Alec off to a private area. Counting the money, Enrique headed outside.

Serafeim Claire.

"I wanna learn Greek!" Serafeim said, "Daddy's already teaching me Spanish."

Nina.
Ash.
Yogan Price.

Yogan didn't bother stopping until Ash had fainted on his own. Nina screamed.

Gonzales.

The German gave a sigh as he looked up. The Nature Spirit closed his eyes in thought.

Sivain laughed. "Well, Greek is hard to learn."

Ganbara clamped his hands over his ears as the scream reverberated in his head. He looked around for the source, it was giving him a headache.

Lucifina.

Enrique continued on his way. "Hopefully he won't disappoint her," he muttered.

Serafeim Claire.

"Spanish seems hard to learn."

Nina.
Ash.
Yogan Price.

Nina started to cry as she witnessed her father figure topple over as well. His hands were covering his ears.

Gonzales.

Gonzales looked over at her, "Ah, yes," he said. "Thanks."

As Esperance approached the door, she heard crying. Abandoning her suspicions of her father-figure, she ran towards the sound.


S i v a i n .

"All the Romantic languages come from Latin," said Sivain. "Once you learn Latin, it should be easier."


T e r r a .

Terra brought out a tray of tea and cookies "I thought you were hungry, too."

"Can you speak Latin?" he asked. "Did Daddy teach you Spanish?"

Ash.
Yogan Price.

Nina looked around despite her tears blurring her vision. "Help," she said, "Ash and Daddy..." She was crying out to anyone.

Gonzales.

A small, sad smile crept on his face. "Thank you Terra," he said. "You're always thinking of others passionately. It's really kind of you."

Esperance slowed as she saw Nina crying. She approached the girl and put her hand on Nina's shoulder. "What's wrong? What happened?" she asked.

"I learned it a long time ago, but I forgot a lot of it," said Sivain with a smile. "And, he's tried, I don't understand it at all."

Terra returned the smile brightly and set the tray down in front of Gonzales.

Serafeim gave a small "oh". He smiled at his mother after a second. "Did you hear him speak Spanish? He talks fast!"

"A-Ash." Nina started out. "He fell over and then Daddy. I don't know what's happening..."

Gonzales.

After touching his ring finger, where his wedding ring with Anastasia used to be, briefly, he reached out to grab a cookie. "What is in it?" he asked curiously.

"Can you help your father up? I'll grab Ash. There's a hotel nearby," Esperance said.

"Yes, yes he does," said Sivain, smiling.

"Maple cookies," said Terra. "It's like a sugar cookie, but with maple."

Nina nodded as she reached out to touch Yogan's shoulder. Yogan glared at Nina before letting her help him. Ash was coming to, but it was obvious that he wasn't going to be coordinated.

Gonzales.

Gonzales smiled at her when he swallowed a piece of the cookie. "It's good," he said with a smile, "I don't think I'd ever say anything bad to your baking, Terra."

"Why was there a party? Did you hate each other? What happened?"

Ash let her help him up. He gave a soft moan of pain. Yogan didn't bother making any noise as Nina helped him up. He kept his hands over his ears though as Nina asked what was wrong.

Yogan however, could hear the long, drawling ring and he didn't know what it was.

Gonzales.

"Terra," the German said, "Your baking's fabulous."

"It was Ninetales's birthday. And we didn't know each other well enough to hate each other. Nothing really happened."

"Who's Ninetales?"

"I am so sorry," Ash said weakly.

The ringing stopped in Yogan's ears and the man sighed, removing his hands from his ears. He looked at Esperance, but said nothing. Nina was still asking questions to him about his well being.

Gonzales.

"Yes."

"Ask your father for details tomorrow," said Sivain. "It's fuzzy to me."
