She shook her head. "I don't know why and I don't know how..." she said. "But I have never seen Ash in so much pain..." She strolled over to Ash and ran a hand through his hair gently. The sleeping boy flinched a little from her touch as he slept and turned away from her, his bangs moving aside in a way to reveal the bruising on the left side of his forehead, where the crown was. He didn't even sleep peacefully. When Nina had tried to soothe him by running a hand through his hair, the boy had the face of slight pain. His red-amber eyes opened and spotting Esper, he spoke weakly. "Nina?" He didn't even notice Nina next to him.
