He looked at her for a split second before inhaling--masking his sorrow with his calm demeanor. "That's fine." he said calmly. "I pray that you'll have a wonderful lifetime..." He turned around and walked to the window to look out into the garden as he felt heartbreak once again when he spoke the next two words. "...with them."

Platinume sat on the chair after giving his speech about Delilah, away from the crowd. He hid that something was off very well. He never liked crowds from the start. Dyemond's health had also started to go downhill, so Kratos was ordered to be with Dyemond (and was ordered that Dyemond's safety was superior to all other orders).

  • Kinsey stayed silent throughout Platinume's speech. She had done her best to avoid him, but she hadn't stopped crying on and off since she was there. The loss of her would-have-been daughter was too much for her. She loved Delilah and Platinume with all of her heart. She used her handkerchief to wipe her tears. Every once and awhile, like now, she would steal a glance at Platinume.

"He doesn't hate you. He never will. Platinume had never held a hatred save for whoever killed his daughter. He's just grieving and upset, a little shattered..." His cheerful green eyes looked at her, giving her a gentle smile and with an optimistic tone he said, "Go on, he won't do anything. He's just sitting there. He'll never raise a hand towards you." His tone dropped, though. "Besides, we are in a war. Someone else is bound to die."
