After a while, Gold came down and went to the kitchen. She had seen Sylver leave and was a little confused, but said nothing. She smiled at her mother, "He's okay," she said. "Ninetales said it's probably just a fever after checking him over, but nothing too serious."

The optimistic girl stopped what she's doing and smiled. She was on her knees as she looked up at Renea. "I don't think so," she said truthfully. "Sylver's hard to understand, yes. I don't think he hates any of us. I think he just has a hard time expressing how much he cares and how many people he cares about. Yes, he'll argue with Dad, but that's a Sylver thing to do." She hummed, thinking more about her brother.

"I think that he loves a lot of people, he just acts rude and cold towards them because he's afraid of what might happen and what could happen. He's just that kind of guy." Gold gave Renea a gentle smile.
