He looked at her, wondering what Cross had to do with this and then sighed as he looked straight ahead once more. He approached her room, practically kicking the door open and said nothing as he walked to the side of her bed and laid her down on it. He went to cover her with the bedsheets.

"The next day I wasn't as much as a villian to Renea at all. It was mainly my wife that was the villain to her now. She spotted us in bed together and grew jealous. If anything, I was trying to protect Renea from Sarah's wrath, but I don't know if she knew..."

- Renea: "I don't know what changed in him after my escape, but something did. He was nicer, so I returned the kindness. His wife however, was a different story. I hated her for existing, but I couldn't tell Alexander that. When he defended me, I felt grateful."

- Renea's eyes slowly opened. The first thing she saw was Alexander. At first, she was going to push him away, but she remembered that she asked him to stay. Sighing, she closed her eyes once more. She barely remembered what happened, but he had brought her back and healed her, so she didn't wish to wake him.

Alex hummed and held her closer, as if not wanting her to leave. After a while, he started to open his eyes, the sleepiness in them.
