He suddenly couldn't look at her eyes, they reminded him of Circe. He absentmindedly fingered his ring finger where a ring should be. "Thanks for the compliment." he said.

Upon hearing the last name even, he thought of Circe. He looked at Icy, kneeling in front of the nine-year-old. "I have to go back to the car really quick. I'll be back. Look after your brother and stay away from harm, okay?" Icy nodded and Ash got up. His cheeks were a darker shade of red and his nose was rosy. His eyes were glassy, even. He started for the parking lot.

Upon reaching the car after jogging, he leaned against the driver's door and covered his face. He sobbed. Then he weakly slumped against the car and continued to cry.

Icy continued until they got to the car. "Daddy?" he asked. Ash jumped a little, startled. Then he wiped his eyes and tried to rid the evidence that he was crying. He smiled at them. "Hey, what's up?" He was trying to stand now, using the car as a support.
