She gave him another quick smile before entering. She was sure that her parents were somewhere close to Icy. Her father has for the past few days.

Lex kissed her hand lovingly when Icy nodded.

"He thought he found his soulmate." Cross said, "He did anything she asked, despite her being already married. Mainly she asked if he would make love to her. Her husband never touched her. Only abuse. When she found out she was pregnant, she persuaded her husband to sleep with her and for a while he thought the children were his. When she stopped visiting Yogan for months, he felt abandoned. When he found out she was pregnant, he felt betrayed. Then left. When he came back, he found out she was dead. He still loved her."
