"Yes, the ratio is out there, isn't it?" asked Renea with a small laugh. She sipped her tea some more. "Still, they have survived hundreds of years like this. It makes sense it'd catch up to them at some point."

"I never thought to go there. I am low on funds right now so I am afraid I cant, and it wouldn't be fair to ask the queen for money." Blossom sighed. " I could browse I guess."

He returned her smile gracefully. "They would." he said. "Do you honestly like it here though? Is it always this peaceful? No war?" He had enough wars, emotional and physical. He didn't want to fight anymore wars.

Lex gave her another smile, "Good." he said. "I don't want to participate in any wars." He stood up. "Do you stay in here all day?" he asked. "I can't stand staying in the same area. I'm going to tour around the area. Do you wish to accompany me and show me around or are you going to leave me to my devices and be lost somewhere?"

"I usually stay in the study. Though, letting you get lost is tempting, I wouldn't mind giving you a tour of the castle," said Renea.

He chuckled, amused. "Well, fiancee, do you care to lead me or shall we just walk around aimlessly as you point out things? Or do you wish to hold my hand so I won't get lost or left behind?" He held his hand out teasingly.

"It would be my honor to hold your hand as I act as your guide," she said smiling. She took his hand and began to leave the throne room. She left her finished cup of tea on the arm of her throne where it balanced gracefully.

A lex followed her close behind. "That's great," he said. He didn't think that she'd hold his hand but it wasn't a big surprise. He did wonder, however if he would ever feel comfortable in the area. Joseph seemed kind and Renea seemed kind. Blossom seemed kind enough as well too. Maybe all fairies are like that? He highly doubt it. There would be someone in the future that would hate him. He just had to stick around long enough. Despite that, he kept his content attitude about him. He didn't relax though.

"I-I don't know.. I'm just skittish and stuff. I don't know if I could handle it. Being it would be the first time I've ever been out of the court yard" Blossom's smile weakened.

He stayed silent for a while before answering. "They would die within the first year or they died of a disease. Relinia only lasted six years, bore my children and was murdered two years after my daughter's birth. I wouldn't say I have philophobia after Lidia's death, but I don't want you falling under my misfortune of women I am married to dying..."
