Cross carefully took Sasha from the girls' arms and looked at Renea. "I think we should lay her down," he said. He approached a flowerbed and laid her down on it. "Since you're closer to her, Renea, I think you should have a moment with her. I'll...handle other parts of the situation."

The red head said nothing, but disagreed with not loving her. He loved Sasha, he adored Sasha, but he didn't know how else to act. He found himself making love to women he never loved. Instead, he just continued to stroke Sasha's hair with no response.
