"That is true," he said. He kissed her neck and rubbed his hand up and down her back, still very relaxed. "I'm sorry, Sivain," he said softly, "About Jace..." He still thought that it was his fault that he made Sivain jealous that one moment. He regretted each moment, thinking about that time. "I don't want you to lose this one because of my stupidity as well, Sivain." He was also a little scared being a father, in fear of losing the baby. Like Jace.

You're supposed to use your senses to fight what is harming you or your family!" He pressed down harder. "Or do I have to paralyze you again?" Yogan was busy teaching Ash how to fight blind, but he was growing frustrated at Ash thinking tat the boy can't use his ability to see Energy for his own protection.
